The light leaks before it lands. Color tastes the air. Time melts at the edge and forgets what it’s counting. Love drifts in unfamiliar shapes. Sweet, volatile. Charged with heat and hunger, it moves like a signal through space. Bending reality just enough to feel inevitable. We circle, pulled by forces we don’t name. Our bodies become constellations. Touch becomes translation. And faith flickers between doubt and wonder. Not broken, just refracted.

Paradise feels temporary. Escape feels intimate. Desire burns soft and bright like a star learning how to last. Everything is in motion. Collision, orbit, return. Meaning forms, dissolves, and then forms again.

This is the pause before the stillness speaks. This is the instant before commitment. Before gravity settles. Before love decides what it is. This is Genesis.

End Of The Line

My wife and I moved to Florence three years ago. August 25 was the day we both drank to us making our house a home. Being only 20 at the time, it was a challenge for me to move to an entirely new place. I didn’t know the language (still don’t know much), had never lived away from family like this. But the goal was to start my own family here, and that’s what we did. I would have caved so quick if it weren’t for my wife. She helped me find my feet while I tried to do the same for her. Slowly but surely, we made this place into our home. Along came Theo and changed our lives completely. And now we have our very own heaven down here surrounded by hydrangeas. I wrote this song as an ode to the support that my wife has shown me and the direction that life has took. I have poured my heart and soul into this. And I hope that comes through.

Life has seen a lot in the past year. Both good and bad. I have faced situations I never dreamt of, been in the middle of things I hardly had any idea about, saw life play out in a way I could never have imagined.

I started this year off by thinking very specifically about what I wanted my music to be. I started working on my second album (which I still am) and knew exactly what I wanted it to sound like. I think I still do but lately I’ve been coming back down to what I’ve always started out with. What I think I started letting go of. What comes easy to me. And that’s music by the barebones of it. Raw, subtle, and simple. Just a guy, in a room, with a guitar and something to complain about. I do have plans of venturing into a sound I haven’t before with my second album but I don’t wanna feel like I’m leaving something behind. Something that feels at home. Something that makes me comfortable. Something that makes it easy to be miserable. Something that’s me.

And that’s why I’m putting out this small collection of songs that were written in the past year coming from a very particular space both physically and emotionally. These ideas were born on oliver street. They belong to oliver street. And they talk about something that has been an equally important part of my life as oliver street. And as it happens, both those things are gone now.

They talk about the loss of something special, the longing of reconnection, the regret of time wasted. The beauty of the past and the ugliness of the present. The certainty and the stubbornness of the future. I don’t think I could ever have the balls to tell you what these songs truly are about, but they’re going to be yours soon. So feel free to dive in. ABOUT SHAYAN REGAN

Shayan Regan is an independent multi-genre artist and producer whose music has amassed millions of streams across platforms.

After building a global audience with his early releases, Regan has evolved into a bold, guitar-driven sound rooted in classic rock influence and modern psychedelic energy.

His latest body of work marks a clear shift — trading stripped-back production for expansive arrangements, layered guitars, groove-heavy rhythm sections, and kaleidoscopic textures. Drawing influence from the theatrical ambition of David Bowie, the flamboyant yet emotional scale of Queen, the atmosphere of Pink Floyd, the melodic craftsmanship of Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles, alongside the modern psych-pop edge of Tame Impala, Regan’s current direction blends vintage spirit with contemporary polish.

At the core of this new era is Genesis, a record exploring love through a cosmic lens that's expansive, immersive, and emotionally charged. The record leans into 70s rock textures, glam influences, and vibrant sonic experimentation while maintaining a strong focus on melody and storytelling.

With a steadily growing international audience and a clear artistic vision, Shayan continues to build a catalogue defined by ambition, identity, and a commitment to crafting music that feels both timeless and immediate. Shayan Regan’s catalog has appeared in editorials across major streaming platforms, earned him a quiet recognition and genuine connections, and has been shared by artists and tastemakers alike.
